Creature Comforts is a wholly family owned business, providing pet supplies for a wide range of animals and birds.
The store was opened in September 2011 and we pride ourselves on giving customers a personal ‘old fashioned’ service. Our dedicated staff are friendly, knowledgeable and always on hand for advice, if required.
Furry customers are more welcome within the store, and always receive a warm reception and a tasty treat. We are passionate about animal welfare and strive to help provide the best possible care for your pets to ensure that your pet is happy and healthy.
We have two resident Amazon parrots Charlie & Suzy who, when aren’t napping, often entertain the customers with their naughty laugh, and if you’re lucky, Charlie may even sing you Happy Birthday!

You can find us in Le Grand Bouet in St Peter Port, opposite the back entrance to Carpet Right. There is on site parking available.

The Waggle Centre is along Braye Road, in Lowlands Industrial Estate, in the old Intersport building.
doggy daycare
Daycare runs Monday - Friday from 7.30am.
We have a large play area with toys and play equipment for the dogs to run around and play in, and kennels for breaks and down time. Dogs are never left in the play area unattended and are taken out for regular toilet breaks and short walks.

I am the Senior dog grooming stylist at Waggle wash. I own a dog named (Princess) Polly as well as a family dog called Cooper, who are both Cavalier King Charles spaniels.
If I could own any dog breed I’d love to have a German shepherd or a Doberman in the future.
My favourite dog breeds to groom would be anything that’s double coated and in need of a good De shed, I find it very satisfying even if I do go home home looking a bit like a dog, covered in their fur!
I became a dog groomer as it allows me to express my creativity & love for dogs every day in my career. I am very grateful that I get to work in a role that I am so passionate about & proud of. It’s your amazing dogs that make me love my job.
In my spare time outside of work I enjoy going out for long walks with Polly & spending time with friends & family.
A top tip from myself would be to remember to rebook appointments & have a good grooming schedule with your groomers to keep your dog looking and smelling their best!

I am a dog grooming assistant at Waggle Wash. The pets that I have are 4 dogs, a parrot & a rabbit.
If I could own any dog breed it would be a Dalmatian, I grew up with this breed when I was younger.
My favourite breed to groom would be a Shih Tzu, I have two of my own, Mickey & Rex, who I love showing and grooming. I enjoy meeting any new Shih tzu who comes into the salon for a pamper!
I was inspired to become a dog groomer after spending time grooming my own dog in preparation for the show ring.
Outside of work I like to spend my time looking after my boys, we go for walks, have cuddles on the sofa, & I give them a brush before bed.
A top tip from me is to ensure that you go through your dogs coat with a metal comb after brushing to make sure all tangles and matts are removed.

I am a dog grooming assistant at Waggle wash, I have 2 dogs, a Border Collie named Tinsel & a Border collie cross named Sam.
If I could own any dog breed it would be a Springer Spaniel because of their amazing temperament and behaviour.
My favourite breeds to groom would be any type of spaniel, I most definitely have a soft spot for them and their lovely nature.
Dog grooming is a very rewarding job & seeing a dogs transformation before and after their groom made me want to become a dog groomer myself.
I love all animals and making them look their best is one of my favourite parts of the job.
When I’m not at work I enjoy drawing & spending time catching up on my favourite TV shows.

Our Saturday sessions are great for socialising puppies and adult dogs, in a secure environment.
Sessions are in hour slots, and grouped by age and size.
Humans stay for the session, and there are vending machines available with drinks and snacks.
